In 1962, France launched their “ship of state,” the SS Fance ocean liner. She was bigger than Titanic.
By the 1980’s people no longer needed ocean liners. Most were scrapped. However, the SS France was transformed to become the SS Norway. She became the first Caribbean mega-ship.
The SS Noway was popular for a further twenty-five years, until a dramatic and tragic event ended her reign.
