Below is the Blue Star Lines published FAQ’s. My comments are in blue:
Q: How can I register for updates about the Titanic II?
Blue Star Line reply: You can register for regular Titanic II updates via Subscribing to our News Letter on the Blue Star web site: http://www.bluestarline.com.au/
(Malcolm says: Unfortunately, the web site has not been updated very often)
Q: How can I apply for a job working on Titanic II?
There are currently no vacancies at Blue Star Line. Future employment opportunities will be advertised on the blue star.
(Malcolm says: Ship building has not commenced yet! )
Q: When will tickets for Titanic II be made available?
Tickets are not yet available for purchase. Ticketing information, including the date of the maiden voyage and ticket prices will, when released, be made available on the Blue Star. (See Malcom’s link HERE)
Q: What ports will Titanic II stop at during her schedule?
The ship will stop at the same ports as Titanic including Southampton and New York.
(Malcolm says: RMS Titanic of course only stopped at Southampton and tendered off Cohb, Ireland. Palmer originally said that Titanic II’s maiden voyage will be from Dubai to Southampton. However, this may be revised with if a European shipyard is chosen.)
Q: Will Titanic II have all three passenger classes like Titanic?
Yes. Titanic II will have the same class categories as the original Titanic. These being First Class, Second Class and Third Class.
(Malcolm says: It is very unlikely that Mr. Palmer will re-create the minimalism of the third class cabins with multiple bunks and no private toilet or baths. In fact the original ‘steerage’ only had a few toilets and baths for hundreds of passengers.)
Q: Will Titanic be the same size as Titanic?
Titanic II will replicate the Titanic in length and be a few meters wider to provide additional stability.
Q: Can passengers experience all the different class aboard Titanic II on the same voyage?
This option is under consideration.
(Malcolm says: Mr. Palmer originally said “yes” to this question, but how can over two thousand passengers swap cabins during a cruise, to sample three different classes. I suspect this could only be done with restaurants, somehow. However originally there were 689 first class passengers, 674 second and 1,010 third respectively. As there are over 300 more third class passengers then 1st or 2nd, how could they even all swap dining rooms, easily?)
Q: Will the Titanic II have all the same restaurants and dining rooms as Titanic?
It is planned that all restaurants and dining rooms will be represented on Titanic II.

Below are Malcolm’s FAQ’s:
(My answers are based on the available knowledge at the time of writing, 2024)
Q: Will the Titanic actually get built and when will she enter service?
Clive Palmer said that Titanic II will enter service in June 2027 but this may not be the case, due to a further delay.
Q: Will Titanic II be the same size as the original and carry the same number of passengers?
Yes, she will be approximately the same size. She will carry 2,435 passengers which is a very similar number to the original.
Q: Will Titanic II still be the worlds biggest ship?
No. Cruise ships have got a lot bigger since 1912.
Q: Could the Titanic II hit an iceberg?
Today this is very unlikely. See – HERE
Q: Will Titanic II have real steam engines like the original?
No, they will be modern diesel-electric ones with three ‘Azipods’.
Q: I’ve heard that Titanic II’s rudder will be fake. Is this true?
Yes, it is only for aesthetic reasons and will not steer the ship. Modern ‘Azipods’ will be used to steer the ship. Titanic II will be much more manoeuvrable than the original Titanic.
Q: Will Titanic II’s four funnels be fake?
The rear two will be used for generator exhaust. The front two will house a viewing gallery. (The original Titanic had one fake funnel. See HERE)
Q: Will Titanic II be built at Belfast’s ‘Harland and Wolff’ shipyard, like the original?
Early on Mr. Palmer favoured the Jinling shipyard, in China, but designers Deltamarin have recommended a European shipyard. Palmer did favour H&W, but today they are not capable of building big passengers ships. March 2025: A shipyard has not yet been finalised.
Q: Will Titanic II have enough lifeboats, unlike the original.
Yes, Titanic II will have more than enough. The Titanic II will conform to all modern maritime safety regulations (SOLAS). There will be 18 modern lifeboats, located on a new deck, called the ‘Safety Deck’.
Q: Will there be class divisions on-board the Titanic II, like the original.
Details are not yet available. However I believe that different grades of cabin (1st, 2nd and 3rd class) will be recreated to an extent, as will the different dining rooms and public rooms, which were also divide into classes. It is likely that passengers can book a cabin/dining class. However the passengers will not be segregated as such, behind gates.
Q: Like the original, will Titanic II have the cramp 3rd class (steerage) cabins, with no natural light, multiple bunk beds and no private toilets or baths?
Details are not yet available. However I suspect that the 3rd class cabins will be a little smaller/simpler and more basic than 1st and 2nd class ones, but will still have all the necessary modern conveniences, such as a private bathroom per cabin.
Q: The original Titanic could transport a car tor two, in its hold. Will Titanic II offer this facility?
No.
Q: Is it true that the cabins will not have TV’s?
Yes. TV’s were not invented in 1912.
Q: The original Titanic did not have a theatre, casino or shops, Will the Titanic II?
Mr. Palmer has stated that the ‘safety deck’ will have these facilities.
Q: Is it true that there is no pools or hot-tubs on the outer deck?
Yes. However there will be an inside ‘Bathing Pool‘.
Q: Is it true that Titanic II will not have a gymnasium, Spa/Beauty centre or any sports facilities?
No. There will be a gymnasium modelled on the original, with original apparatus. There will also be a Turkish bath and a squash court.
