April 2026: Palmer FINALLY Talks Titanic II

After a year of silence, Clive Palmer has finally provided an update about his Titanic II project.

You will want to hear this.

Below is the best comment/reply that I have ever had to one of my videos. Well done!

You know something? An update telling us we have to wait 5 years would normally have me fuming and on the verge of tears (If this was revealed in, let’s say, 2020, I would completely lose my marbles. I would probably hate Palmer’s guts, too, regardless of whether it’s his fault or not). But actually, it sounds weirdly optimistic in a way. That’s because:

A) It proves that Palmer is still working on the project. Just because he is silent about it, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. His silence is understandable, since, if there is nothing to say, what is he going to tell his audience?

B). Notice that he didn’t just say: “Yes, I still plan to do it”, or even “Yes, I’m still working on it”. He said, “We have people LOOKING [for a shipyard] in Europe to do it.” That implies ACTIVE EFFORTS. Meaning, the project is not just “still on”. Steps are technically being taken as we speak to make it a reality.

C). He doesn’t dodge the Titanic II question, nor does he embellish things, and make them more optimistic than they are. The fact that he will potentially have to wait 5 years is a very hard pill to swallow, both for fans and, probably, for him, too. But he said it the way it is. D). The fact that he is still working on the project, and is STILL willing to go through with it even when faced with a potential 5 year wait time, gives me hope that he’s not as much of a scammer as he is just a really disorganized, wealthy dreamer, who, despite everything, still hasn’t given up on his goal. Sure, people say he revives the project for publicity, but the fact that he has been persisting for 14 YEARS gives me the feeling it’s more than just talk. It seems like he actually WANTS to do it, but, again, doesn’t properly handle his idea.

E). Despite the fact that we will probably be waiting for 5 years, that is still a timeline that we now KNOW about. So he still updated us with both the status AND the time it may take. I’d say that’s honesty and integrity.

F). The waiting period is “about 5 years”, but we might not NEED to wait for all of them. Sure, shipyards are taken, and it’s looking bad, but there still IS a chance for a miracle, that Clive Palmer’s team will find a shipyard (hopefully, a reputable one) that can just find a slot to squeeze Titanic II in before that time passes. Especially since she’s such a legendary vessel, they might be willing undertake her just for publicity. Who knows, maybe we will be celebrating the selection of a shipyard by March of next year. Which leads us into

G). It seems like we have a scarce, but fairly consistent update schedule, that being March of every year. Sure, two of the three times, Palmer only answered because he was ASKED. But again, he DOES give us updates, like every project manager does (Heck, even I predicted we would have news this month) . It’s just that they’re awfully rare because, again, there is nothing new to report besides what has already been said. This is just a guy rolling with what he’s got. No more, no less.

H). Even of Palmer departs this Earth before completing his dream, there’s the chance that someone will take over his companies. I mean, he can’t be the only person running the Blue Star Line. All in all, I’m not flying from joy, and I’m not going to believe everything Palmer says until actual construction begins. But as of right now, Palmer is giving me reasons to start trusting him a little more again.
